Congratulations to Evan Hutchinson and James Andersen, both of Burke High School, for signing football scholarships. Hutchinson will be attending Morningside College and Andersen signed with Minnesota State-Mankato.

Registration is now open for the Jingle Bell Run, a 5K fun run/walk on December 4th, 2011 at Shadow Lake Towne Center in Papillion, NE. This one of a kind event offers a chance for the brave to bundle up or don their best costume and head outside for a fun way to stay active during the winter months. They will be helping a good cause at the same time since all proceeds benefit the Papillion-La Vista South Health Systems Academy.

Casey Gillaspie named Gatorade Player of the Year | 06.22.11

Casey Gillaspie (Westside) was named Gatorade Player of the Year. Given to only one athlete per sport in each state, this award is earned by demonstrating athletic excellence, academic excellence, and exemplary character. We know first hand that Casey is a hard worker and we couldn't be more proud that he earned this honor!

Travis Manners Nominated for Entrepreneur of the Year | 05.06.11

Travis Manners, owner of Athletes' Training Center, was recently nominated for Millard Business Association Entrepreneur of the Year. He was eligible for the nomination because he started a business within the last 3 years in the Millard area. Manners fulfilled a need in the community for a center that helps active people, injured and healthy, reach their goals in sports and life. Athletes Compete at State Tournaments | 03.04.11

Athletes' Training Center would like to recognize these outstanding athletes on a job well done at their state tournaments.

Anne Marie Filipic (Burke) earned 2nd in the 1m Diving event at State Swimming.

Mary Kate Luddy (Millard North) earned 3rd in the 200 Individual Medley and 2nd in the 500 Freestyle.

Joe Essi (Westside) placed 4th at Districts and 6th at State Wrestling.
